One of my favorite advertising that i like that contains questionable ethics is above:
I actually choose on this McDonald because it has happen in reality to myself. One of my first ethical question is the truth. Above all, ethical advertising focuses on the truth. truth-in-advertising laws, which dictate that advertisements must be truthful and not misleading, and cannot be unfair. This applies to any advertisement .
secondly provide evidence truth, ethical advertising ensures that any claims are substantiated by scientific evidence when possible. When dealing with health products, or medications and important to provide solid backing for any claims.
lastly, another thing that i saw that it had a high costly penalty. it cost a lot and it even looked the same it is just propaganda to attract costumers.
| Advertising also has an indirect but powerful impact on society through its influence on media. therefore when you buy something make sure it looks the same investigate before buying something from the advertisement. Hope you like my few ethical points that i saw on my McDonald's burger i was sad when i got to see my actual burger. |
I agree with you Shandy. The fact that it happened to me also, in a lesser degree. I was not as impacted because I knew it had happened to others.
ReplyDeleteWhat sucks is that we are complacent and end up still buying it because of the hype and the bandwagon effect, "The burger sucks." "Wheres it from?" "Burger king " "*SILENCE*"
There is where we need to take up the ethical oath and demand companies follow it.
